19 EAST BAR & GRILL

Silent Sanctuary , Mayonnaise and Hale

I invited my friends to go to band gigs at 19 East last September 30, 2016. Together with Sahara, Aimee and Dorothy, the four of us went to 19 East to watch Silent Sanctuary , Mayonnaise and Hale.

19 East is a bar in Sucat. It is located along East Service Road right after Sucat Exit going North. The place is overseeing the Laguna Lake on one side. As you enter it, you can see a billiards area and some seats outside the garden like area. On the far side is the music hall where most of the performers play. It is an enclosed area with a 2nd floor and a stage at the far end. Tables are in front of the stage and there is a bar on the side.

It was already 8pm when we got there and it was already few tables in the room. We paid P300 to the collector. As the night progress, people keep on coming in and it was already getting crowded. It was already 11pm when the show began. After we eat, we go down to watch the band.

The first performers were Silent Sanctuary. I’m a big fan of them and I like their songs. It was entertaining and I like the way they performed on stage.

After performing a few songs, it was Mayonnaise's turn on the stage. People are waiting for them and at about 12 midnight they started their performance.  I wasn't a big fan of them but I like some of their songs. Most I didn't know that they were the one who sang it. Even if I'm not a big fan, I enjoyed it.

Lastly, Hale was the last performer. Before their performance starts, we saw Champ, the handsome vocalist of the band and we asked to have picture with him. Their songs’ really relaxing and calm. I love the way Champ sings their songs. I’m also a big fan of them. Especially, Champ because he’s one of my crush when I was in highschool.

It was crowded once the performance started and there are annoying dudes that went in front of us blocking most of the people's view. They were annoying and since we are all tired of standing up it was quite irritating to see them. Other than that, it was all good.

They are some of the best bands here in the Philippines. Hoping that we support our very own OPM.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

“I finally understood what true love meant...love meant that you care for another person's happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be.”  -JOHN

“When you're struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it's just as hard as what you're going through.” -JOHN

“And when her lips met mine, I knew that I could live to be a hundred and visit every country in the world, but nothing would ever compare to that single moment when I first kissed the girl of my dreams and knew that my love would last forever.” -JOHN

“Our story has three parts: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And although this is the way all stories unfold, I still can't believe that ours didn't go on forever.” -JOHN

“I fell in love with her when we were together, then fell deeper in love with her in the years we were apart.” -JOHN

“The saddest people I've ever met in life are the ones who don't care deeply about anything at all. Passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there's nothing to make it last.” -JOHN

“When I look in the mirror, I know I’m looking at someone who isn’t sure she deserves to be loved at all.”  -JOHN

“In our time together, you claimed a special place in my heart, one I'll carry with me forever and that no one can ever replace.” -JOHN

“I'm going to marry you one day, you know." "Is that a promise?" "If you want it to be.”  -JOHN

“Love should bring joy, it should grant a person peace, but here and not, it was bringing only pain.”  -JOHN
